2026 H.E.R.S. Elite All-Star Tournament Teams

H.E.R.S. Elite All-Star Tournament Teams are competitive fast-pitch softball divisions designed to elevate player development beyond the regular Spring and Fall local travel seasons. These teams are not traditional travel teams, but instead provide an enhanced competitive experience for players looking to challenge themselves at a higher level.

Girls ages 12U, 14U, and 16U have the opportunity to represent H.E.R.S. in tournaments throughout the season. Through increased game play, athletes develop advanced skills, stronger teamwork, and lasting camaraderie.

Tournament teams are an excellent way for players to grow their confidence, sharpen their abilities, and take their game to the next level.

Tryouts Schedule

• July 13 & 15, 6PM - 8PM, H.E.R.S. Field, 12U (Ages 10, 11 & 12)

• July 20 & 23, 6PM - 8PM, H.E.R.S. Field, 14U (Ages 13 & 14)

• July 6 & 8, 6PM - 8PM, H.E.R.S. Field, 16U (Ages 15 & 16)

Practice Begins TBD for those who make the team.

Tournaments are all within a 100 mile radius and may be played on various days of the week.

I understand that participation in H.E.R.S. Elite tryouts does not guarantee placement on a team.

I acknowledge that H.E.R.S. Elite is a competitive program and that player evaluations will be conducted during the tryout process. Team selections will be based on factors including, but not limited to, skill level, athletic ability, effort, attitude, sportsmanship, coachability, and team needs.

I understand that roster spots are limited and that players may be selected, placed on an alternate list, or not selected for a team. I further understand that players may be released or removed from the program if they fail to meet team expectations, violate H.E.R.S. policies, or engage in conduct detrimental to the team or organization.

I understand that team selections will not be finalized until all scheduled tryouts have been completed and evaluated. H.E.R.S. Softball will contact me regarding my player's status after the conclusion of the tryout process.

By agreeing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Elite Tryout Acknowledgment.

I, the parent or legal guardian of __________________________________, hereby give permission for my child to participate in any and all H.E.R.S. Softball activities during the current playing season(s).

I understand and acknowledge that participation in softball and related activities involves inherent risks of injury, illness, and property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks and hazards incidental to my child's participation, including transportation to and from practices, games, tournaments, and other H.E.R.S. activities.

I hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless H.E.R.S. Softball, its officers, commissioners, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, supervisors, participants, and any persons transporting my child to or from H.E.R.S. activities from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to my child's participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I understand that H.E.R.S. Softball maintains Excess Medical Liability Insurance coverage for eligible participants; however, I acknowledge that such coverage may not cover all medical expenses incurred as a result of injury or illness. I understand that I remain responsible for any medical expenses not covered by applicable insurance policies.

I further acknowledge that participation in H.E.R.S. activities may expose my child and family members to communicable illnesses, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and other infectious diseases. I voluntarily assume these risks and agree that H.E.R.S. Softball, its officers, commissioners, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any illness, injury, disability, or damages resulting from exposure to or contraction of such illnesses.

By agreeing below, I certify that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement.

I, the parent or legal guardian of ___________________________________, hereby give permission for my child to participate in any and all H.E.R.S. Softball activities during the current playing season(s).

I understand that it is my responsibility to provide transportation for my player to and from all games, practices, tournaments, and team activities. I agree to notify the coach as far in advance as possible if my player will be absent from a game or practice.

I understand that consistent attendance and punctuality are important to the success of the team. If my player repeatedly arrives late, misses practices without notification, or fails to attend team activities, disciplinary action may be taken at the discretion of the coaching staff and H.E.R.S. Commissioners. Such action may include reduced playing time, suspension from games, or removal from the team.

Zero Tolerance Bullying Policy

H.E.R.S. Softball maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding bullying, harassment, intimidation, or unsportsmanlike conduct both on and off the field. Any player found engaging in such behavior may be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the program, as determined by the H.E.R.S. Commissioners.

Zero Tolerance Drug and Alcohol Policy

H.E.R.S. Softball maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the possession, use, distribution, or being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, vaping products, tobacco products, or any controlled substances by any player during the season or at any H.E.R.S. event.

Any player found in violation of this policy will be subject to immediate removal from the team and may be permanently ineligible to participate in future H.E.R.S. programs, subject to review by the H.E.R.S. Commissioners.

By agreeing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the policies and expectations outlined above.

Photo, Video, and Audio Release Consent

I, as the parent or legal guardian of [Child’s Name], give H.E.R.S. Softball permission to use my child’s photo, video, audio recordings, and/or words. I grant full, irrevocable, and perpetual consent to H.E.R.S., its clients, affiliates, commissioners, and assignees (collectively, the “Grantees”) to reproduce, distribute, or display such materials worldwide.

The Grantees may use my child’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, or statements, in whole or in part, in connection with any advertising, research, client presentation, or other media produced by H.E.R.S. Softball. Materials may be used with or without my child’s name, and the Grantees may make reasonable edits to testimonial content, provided the overall spirit and intent of my child’s remarks are preserved.

I waive any right of approval over the use of these materials and release the Grantees from any claims or liabilities, including those related to invasion of privacy or defamation, arising from such use.
